This is the time of year when many people are reflecting on the relationships around them.
When I look around, I see married couples, and I see the kind of love, honor and commitment that sustains our society.
I see so many of us who are raising children, and I see kids who are loved and cherished and cared for.
I reflect on the LGBTQ children, including my own daughter, who proclaim to the world who they are, and I see pride and courage, and kids who will turn into well-adjusted adults and leaders of our society.
I see the hundreds of beautiful transgender adults and children I have met, and their families, and I see love, and acceptance, and finally, the beginning of a society in which people are allowed to be who they were born to be, despite often being attacked and victimized.
I see the vital relationship between Equality Texas and supporters like you, and together we can help those who still cannot see what I now see.
