The Next Generation of Leaders
Equality Leaders (formerly called Equality Fellows) is an advocacy leadership program aimed at providing individuals with the skills, education, and tools necessary to be active and engaged community members in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. Participants build confidence, learn how to channel their individual power as an advocate, and work collaboratively to build collective power with their cohort.

Lead the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights in Texas
Whether you are an experienced advocate or a complete novice, this program will prepare you to champion meaningful change in Texas during the legislative session and uplift critical issues facing your community.
Over the course of six months, leaders meet once a month to explore different topics relevant to advocacy.

Equality Leaders
The Equality Leaders Program (formerly called Equality Fellows) is a Leadership Development program aimed at providing individuals with the skills, education, and tools necessary to be active and engaged community members in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. Participants will build confidence, learning how to channel their individual power as an advocate, as well as work collaboratively to build collective power with their cohort.
The six-month Equality Leaders program is divided into a variety of training modules including:

- The Life of a Bill in Texas
- Preparing for Testimony
- Lobby Visits
- The Power of Storytelling
- How to Pivot
The Leaders program is designed to meet you where you are in your advocacy journey and give you the tools to grow as an advocate. Whether you have engaged in advocacy before or are a complete novice, this program will prepare you to champion meaningful change in Texas during the legislative session and uplift critical issues your community is facing.
