Equality Texas has 2 great volunteer opportunities in Austin this month!

Saturday, September 23rd: Texas Tribune Festival – an innovative and engaging event for people who are passionate about the issues that affect all Texans. Each year, the Festival brings together some of the biggest names in politics to explore the state’s — and nation’s — most pressing issues. Equality Texas will have an information booth and an opportunity to engage with folks who share our passion for fairness, equity and respect. We have multiple shifts with a limited number of spots available.

Saturday, September 30th: Austin Pride Parade – Join us if you’ve ever dreamed of walking in the Austin Pride Parade, waving a pride flag, while all of Austin cheered you on, now’s your chance! We’re looking for volunteers to march with us in the Austin Pride Night Parade. We’ll meet up on St. Jacinto St, east of the capitol starting at 7:00 pm. The parade starts at 8:00 pm. We’ll provide the Equality Texas banners and pride flags (or feel free to bring your own!). You provide your fabulous self. The more the merrier! Invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers!

Sign up today!

I can’t wait to see you all there!

Help us fight for a better Texas for all Texans!

All of the work we do would not be possible without the support of our community and allies.

Thanks!
