FDA Lifts Ban on Blood Donations; Replaces with Homophobic Policy

In a big decision this week — the FDA lifts a lifetime ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men.

However — some restrictions are still in place– as the FDA institutes a policy requiring a year of celibacy by men who have sex with men.
