Mom Will Try and Speak at the School Board at Tonight’s Meeting Which is the Last Before School Starts
What: Equality Texas, the largest statewide organization fighting for LGBT equality in Texas stands with Kimberly Shappley and her transgender daughter Kai to Use the Girls Bathroom when school starts
Who: Kimberly Shappley, the Pearland mom of a transgender daughter will attend the Pearland School District Board Meeting Tonight to try and talk to the school board about allowing her transgender daughter Kai to use the girls bathroom when school begins.
When: Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Kimberly will be over at the school district as early as 3 p.m. and stay through the board meeting to try and register to comment at tonight’s meeting, her last opportunity to talk to the school board before school starts.
Where: Pearland ISD Meetings are held at the Education Support Center (1928 N. Main)
