Today the US Supreme Court ruled on whether or not a state is allowed to ban gender-affirming care for minors. Three trans young people and their parents sued the state of Tennessee after that state banned gender-affirming care for youth. Today, the Court allowed the Tennessee law to stand.

This morning the Texas Senate voted to pass HB229, which would enforce strict definitions of gender limited by binary definitions of sex.
Texas House Votes to Repeal Sodomy Ban
Today House Bill 1738 passed a major landmark in the Texas House. House Bill 1738 would update Texas Law to follow 2003 US Supreme Court precedent in Lawrence v. Texas, which overturned the Texas law banning private, same-sex relationships.
