Trans Bathroom Ban Senate Hearing Scheduled for Monday
On Monday, August 4, the Senate State Affairs Committee will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 7, the latest version of the anti-trans bathroom bill. This legislation attempts to ostracize trans people from public spaces by micromanaging where Texans pee.

Today the US Supreme Court ruled on whether or not a state is allowed to ban gender-affirming care for minors. Three trans young people and their parents sued the state of Tennessee after that state banned gender-affirming care for youth. Today, the Court allowed the Tennessee law to stand.
Anti-trans bill goes to Governor’s desk
This morning the Texas Senate voted to pass HB229, which would enforce strict definitions of gender limited by binary definitions of sex.
